ShigeruNews is Now on Miiverse!!
Be sure to Follow me on Miiverse, for your Daily Dose of Nintendo News, Screenshots, and More!!! Here is the Link: https://miiverse.nintendo.net/users/ShigeruNews -Matt What happens when you cross the vast world of The Legend of Zelda with a Hilarious story line and Heart Warming characters??
Well, you get Ittle Dew! Ittle Dew is a Zelda inspired game that knows how to be familiar yet very unique, with a bright outcome! GRAPHICS: The art style of Ittle Dew is a Feast for the Eyes! With a Beautifully animated cartoon landscape, the colors pop, and the world seems alive! Trees sway from side to side, fire crackles, creatures move about, nothing ever feels lifeless in this game. MUSIC: The music of Ittle Dew combines beautiful instrumental pieces with a sense of adventure! From a mystical ambience in a cave, to a Bold, Up Beat Tune when trekking through the rolling hillsides. CINEMATICS: The opening cinematics are Lovely, as Ittle gets washed ashore the island, the camera pans and shows the entire scope of the land you will be exploring! There are also times when Ittle's companion or Fairy Dog Dew, will make brilliant comedic comments during short dialogue cut scenes! These had me laughing non stop!! STORY: The story begins when Ittle is sailing the high seas, when a sudden storm comes and leaves her shipwrecked on an island. Thus, Ittle starts her adventure to find a way off of the island! Finding enemies, and collecting items along the way. CONTENT: There is so much to do, so many places to explore within the world of Ittle Dew. Demanding puzzles to solve, items to collect, and new locations to uncover behind every corner. Ittle Dew is packed with content. CONTROLS: The best way to play Ittle Dew in my opinion, is with the Dpad! It allows for much more fluid movements of Ittle, as the joystiq tends to not be as accurate. GAMEPAD: The gamepad displays a handy map! Displaying every location that you have discovered in whatever area you are in. I should add that sometimes viewing items like Cards, are easier to see on the Gamepad Screen! GAMEPLAY: The gameplay is everything that you would want from a Zelda inspired game and then some. Collecting different items in the shop encourages you to find treasure chests of money, adding an extra incentive to the already incredible gameplay. THE VERDICT: Ittle Dew is a fantastic game! With it's inspirations from The Legend of Zelda, its engaging gameplay, Hilarious cut scenes, and massive amounts of content, Ittle Dew shines! With few faults, Ittle Dew is an eshop Gem! They will be up within the Next Week! Also, Stay Tuned for Shigeru's Roundup #2!! -Matt Hello Nintendo Fans,
I will be reviewing Ittle Dew (Wii U), Color Zen (Wii U), Stick It to The Man (Wii U), Tappingo (3DS), Turtle Tale (3DS), Bubble Pop World (3DS), and Fishdom H2O: Hidden Odyssey (3DS), in the coming weeks!! Unfortunately my Mario Kart 8 Review won't be out until Late June! So Stay Tuned!! -Matt Why an extremely marvelous platformer, if i must say so myself. In Chubbins you venture out into a land full of outstanding creativity and mind boggling challenges, as a rabbit of course! With each stage introducing you to brand new challenging elements that make everything feel fresh with each passing hour of gameplay. I absolutely love the variations amongst the Arrow Blocks in each stage, as well as the abundance of enemies and spikes that force you to problem solve. Finding out that a spike blocks your easiest way to the goal, builds the challenge and the fun. There are two difficulty settings, Soft and Hard. Depending how great of a challenge you want, you can decide between the two. Music: One complaint that i have, is the lack of a variety of music in each stage. But in the end, the few tunes in each world are very catchy, and serene. Graphics: The 3D graphics are wonderful, sweet and simple! Having a moving background along with a foreground, allows for each world to seem very expansive, and look as if each stage would go on forever. The variety in colors adds extra charm to the game as well. Content: The game is packed with plenty of challenge and fun. You will never grow tired of a stage, as you have the option to play in different difficulties, adding new twists to the gameplay each time. The minute that you pick up Chubbins from the eshop, you will be hooked! Controls: The controls are very simple in Chubbins. Simply move the rabbit Right and Left on the Dpad. Gameplay: Chubbins will have you hopping from one level to another. The game plays great and really adds a unique twist to the platforming genre. One complaint that i have is how once you complete a level, you cannot save. Instead if you exit out of the level (say 1-4), if you enter back into a world, you must start all the way from the beginning (1-1) again. Overall, Chubbins brings a fresh new life into the world of platforming, as well as the Wii U eshop! The gameplay is superb, level designs are top notch, and levels of difficulty will have you coming back for more and more. Aside from some minor complaints, this game is Brilliant. SHIGERU REVIEWS SCORE: 8.5/10 Chubbins will Release in the Wii U eshop on June 5th! WOW, E3 is almost here!!
